التركيب:
تيمونيوم ميثيل سلفات ........... 20 مجم.
ماء نقى .......................... 102 مجم.
جليسيريدات نصف مصنعة : كمية كافية لــ ......... 1800 مجم فى اللبوس الواحد.
الخواص:
تيمونيوم مضاد للتقلصات متعدد المفعول له:
تأثير مباشر على العضلات
تأثير مضاد للأستيل كولين ( 1 / 50 من مفعول الأتروبين عند نفس التركيز الجزيئى ).
دواعى الإستخدام:
◄ علاج لأعراض الآلام الناتجة عن الإختلالات الوظيفية فى الجهاز الهضمى والقنوات المرارية والمرارة ◄ علاج للتقلص والألم فى الجهاز البولى وفى أمراض النساء.
موانع الإستخدام:
إختلالات البروستاتا التى قد تؤدى لخطر الإحتباس البولى.
عند وجود خطر حدوث جلوكوما.
تجاوز الجرعة:
الأعراض : ظهور الأعراض الأتروبينية : جفاف الفم - الإمساك - سرعة ضربات القلب - بالإضافة إلى التوهان فى كبار السن .
العلاج : تعالج الأعراض فى وحدة خاصة مزودة بأجهزة لمتابعة القلب والتنفس.
حتياطات عند الإستخدام:
أثناء الحمل والإرضاع:
لم تظهر الدراسات التى أجريت عن التيمونيوم على الحيوانات أى تشوهات خلقية فى الجنين ، وبالرغم من أن هذة الدراسات لا تحكم على التأثيرات فى الإنسان إلا أنه حتى الآن لم تسجل أى تشوهات خلقية مع الإستخدام العادى .
نظراً لعدم وجود بيانات كافية ، فإن الأم التى ترضع يجب أن تحتاط كقاعدة ، بالرغم من أنه لم تسجل أى مشكلات مع الإستخدام العادى .
التأثير على القدرة لقيادة السيارات أو تشغيل الماكينات : لا توجد
التفاعلات مع الأدوية والتفاعلات الأخرى: لا توجد
الآثار غير المرغوبة : ل توجد
الجرعة:
الجرعة المعتادة فى البالغين..................1 - 2 لبوس شرجى يومياً.
ملحوظة : كمساعد لمفعول الأقراص والشراب والحقن.
الحفظ:
يحفظ بعيداً عن الحرارة والضوء والرطوبة وفى درجة حرارة لا تزيد عن 30ْم.
يحفظ بعيداً عن متناول الأطفال.

(Suppository)
Composition:
For one suppository contains:
Timonium methyl sulfate........................ 20 mg
Purified water.......................................102 mg
Solid hemi - synthetic glycerides......s.f. 1800 mg
Each tablet contains:
Timonium methyl sulfate........................50 mg
Each ampoule contains:
Timonium methyl sulfate.......................5mg/2ml
Each 5 ml syrup:
Timonium methyl sulfate.......................10 mg
Properties:
Timonium mixed antispasmodic
Musculotropic.
Anticholenergic (1 / 50th of the effect of atropine at identical molar concentration).
Indications:
► Symptomatic treatment of pain related to functional disorders of the digestive tract and biliary system.
► Treatment of spasm and pain in the urinary tract and in gynecology
Contraindications:
► Urethroprostatic disorders involving a risk of urine retention.
► Risk of angle-closure glaucoma.
Precautions:
► Pregnancy and breast-feeding:
The results of animal studies of Timonium did not reveal any teratogenic effects.
Although these results do not prejudge the effects in man, no deformities have been reported up till now with normal use.
In the absence of sufficient data, prudence should be the rule for nursing mothers although no problems have been reported with normal use.
► Effects on ability to drive vehicles or operate machines: None.
► Interactions with drugs and other interactions: None.
Dosage and administration:
► In adults the usual dosage is 1-2 suppositories per day.
Note: as a complement to the effect of the Injectable and oral forms.
Overdosage:
► Symptoms:
Appearance of atropinic effects: dry mouth, constipation. Tachycardia, and in elderly patients, confusion.
► Treatment :
Symptomatic treatment in a specialized unit with cardiac and respiratory monitoring.
Warning:
Keep at temp. not exceeding 30°C.
Keep away of reach of children.
